Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better!

So, yesterday, Autumn and I were checking out at walmart and a pair of shorts I had brougt to the counter were two sizes too small, but they were on the clearance rack for $5, and super cute! When they rang up $15, I told the lady that I no longer wanted to purchase them and that they wouldnt fit right now. I called them my "gona get smaller so I can get in these" shorts. Another lady standing there (also an employee) proceeded to tell me.. "That will never happen"!! She said she still has clothes she bought in her closet to encourge herself to lose weight and she never did. 

Now, this is were my conversation got really funny to me because when I said, "Oh really.. well, when I buy a clothing too small and say Im going to lose weight to get into them, IM GOING TO DO IT. I didn't lose 115 pounds out of laziness." I then handed them my liscense and watched as their eyes widened and mouths dropped. 

So, the next time you want to tell someone they cant do something, make sure you know what your talking about before you make an ass of yourself. 

Memories

When my daughter was born, we didn't have facebook, myspace, google+, or smart-phones, and we barely had internet!! We had pagers, and cellphones without cameras or video recorders... We couldn't share/post the awesome pics we took with the world or the funny videos while on a road-trip. If I could have documented my life like we can today, that would have been awesome! So the next time you kiddo's decide that you don't want your pic taken or you don't want to be tagged in pics, just remember, those are memories for you and your friends and family. You'll thank us later when you look back and say, "I remember that!" Had it not been for a picture, a video, a post... you might not have remembered. Remember THAT!!
