Working woman!

So work. Is going well. Got this new android and loving it! Gabe loves it too. So much that Gabe is getting  one as well. Autumn too lol. Work in an hour. Peace!

My Day, Monday

It's Monday... My first day off :0) I have been working my 2-10pm shift so far.. (althou a few minutes ago, I was called to go in early tomorrow. So, I get another evening with Gabe. YAY! I get my first check this Friday.. First thing I am doing is cashing it, and writing a check to Jess for my first car payment. Then its insurance! LOL ... This is weeks check is just about spent already. Anyways.. Im off this thursday, so I'll catch up some more then. I have a few shows to watch with the hubby and at 10pm, I gotta go get a co-worker and bring her home... so ta-ta for now!

And training is finished! Got work thurs., fri and sat so far... the rest of the schedule hasn't been as of yet but Im sure Im going to get some good hours! So, today is my day off and Im going to use it to link my social networks, clean and cook. Peace!

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I'll Miss Ya Tomorrow...

YAY! Training starts tomorrow. Can't wait. I should have my car paid off in 2 1/2 months and money to move! Didn't get the house I wanted but Im ok with it now. I just know Im not taking anything less than something that comes with a fenced in yard.. or one we can fence anyways. 
I'm starting my rapid weight loss plan again. This time I think I will stick to it till the end.. only got 50 pounds to go. Yesterday, I counted calories and fat grams for this weeks meal plan, so I am all set for work. I got a few tupperware to bring the food choices for dinner to work so I dont have to eat gas station food or order out. (which they do a lot) 
I hope there aren't many people in tomorrows class cause I would love to start work Tuesday! But, at least training is paid!! <3

I Got Good News.. and I Got Bad News..

Fine.. Bad news it is... Someone rented the house I wanted... Everyone keeps saying that it just wasn't meant to be or maybe it will be available again when are ready to move in a few months. I understand this. But, that doesn't mean I can't be upset about it. 


Good news... I just got back from filling out my paper work for Cracker Barrel. I go to the Lottery and Liquor License classes (paid training) Monday and possibly Tuesday (depending on how much the teacher gets done) and then work will follow the next day. So, now I am officially an employee. I do feel special because the other applicants were 21 yr old's that didn't get hired because the past youngn's have proven unreliable. Course they don't understand what it really means to have to work to pay bills either or they would have been more responsible with their job. 


Speaking of which, I plan on staying at CB for some time. They have benefits and eventually, I can move up the chain of command and become a manager in a few years and maybe even a few years after that (I'm guessing around 10 total) I can make district manager in some parish. Guess my career starts now. Too bad I didn't stick around in 2001 cause I would be well on my way to a great salary if not already there. Thats OK thou. Thats what second chances are for and I am still young and have plenty of time. I hope.  Oh, and after my benefits kick in, I'm getting my front chipped tooth fixed so I can smile a big beautiful smile without being self conscious. =0)

A New Begining

Well, things seem to be turning for the better! Found a house in Holden we would like to rent to own. We need $1500 down to start. Good thing I finally got a JOB!! Cracker Barrel training starts Monday or Tuesday! Im so EXCITED! So excited, I'm not even sure how much I'm making LOL. Also, mom is back around. Autumn is going to stay with her tonight through Sunday (I believe) and Gabe and I are going to stay tomorrow night. We are going to BBQ and have a few drinks and catch up.. and with Aunt Janis, my cousin Seth and his family. ALL whom I have not seen in years!! The only thing that could make all this change better?? You know it... Until next time!! 

GAH need a new alternator or something... Good news is, Gabe is gona let me use the truck till he fixes it so I can continue to look for work (target didnt want me either.. Guess long term homemakers have it rough trying to get back out there!) and if I find it, I have a way! Just means I gotta bring him to work everyday which means more gas usage. Anyways.. a got a BUSY few days a head of us.. graduation dinner for Fred Cabiad tonight, saying goodbye to Reagan tomorrow morning and partying in TJ's honor tomorrow night..(p.s Happy Birthday TJ.. we all miss you very much <3) Autumn wont be here for a month starting this weekend so Gabe and I are going to spend some alone time watching movies and playing some LoTRO most likely.  Well, thats my update for the time being...back to filling out applications since my PB&J are gone hehe
